Roadmap
A clean view of what's shipping when. We use four confidence labels: Shipping (already in the closed-beta build), Confirmed (committed for the quarter), Likely (~70%), Probable (~50%). If something slips, we move it on this page rather than pretending the original date held.

What we're not building
A roadmap that's only forward motion is dishonest. Here's a partial list of features people have asked us for that we have decided not to build, with the reason. We will revisit if circumstances change.
- Cloud-sync for multi-device session continuity — would require audio to leave the device — non-negotiable
- EHR API integration that pushes notes through Bryl-controlled servers — would require Bryl to receive PHI in transit — non-negotiable. Local-clipboard + deep-link integration with SimplePractice / TherapyNotes / TheraNest is shipping (above).
- AI tutor that watches your sessions and grades them — fundamentally cloud — non-negotiable
- Apple Watch companion for one-tap recording — audio path complications; not categorically off the table, but not a priority
- Android version — the Secure Enclave / FaceID story does not generalize
How we decide
We don't do feature requests by vote count. We do them by clinical fit, architectural feasibility, and whether they help a small practice get the evening back. If you have a request that fits those three, write to us at hello@bryl.app. We answer.
